Denim is a way of life – own it, go ”All Denim”!
Let’s start by saying that this is definitely, by default, a timeless and always IN look. No matter the season no matter the trends, we can always lean on this ”50 shades of blue” street combination.
Ok, cool I know, but what is the reason we as men love this cool ”uniform” so much? The answer lies in the fact that this is a classy look. We all know that iconic image of that badass cowboy, that gunslinger with his denim jeans and his cool shirt or, if we wanna move forward to the present times, just think about our own father, grandfather, they must have tried this look at least once…
So growing up with this style must have had an impact on us, making it one of the reasons we like it so much and still adopt it. We have to admit, the ”blue denim look” is a part of us, so damn simple to get along with and as desigers say: can upgrade our fashion statement immediately without any problems what so ever.
Simple to obtain, this ”blue”look is our casual but significant introduction card. What’s more, designers are getting more experimental with denim than they ever did – dressing jeans up, or ripping them apart in all new ways.

Denim street style
It’s official, denim is now part of the modern street-style mood. You can find different variations of jeans, in colors, models, and particularly in fine fabrics like gabardine, chinos and even cotton. The colors may vary from black to the timeless blue.
“There’s been a move away from the typical mid-wash towards lighter washes that are perfect for summer,” says Mr Porter junior buyer Robyn Ferris. I may add that this trend is also ok for the rainy and even for the cold season. As a small reminder, brands like Nudie, Acne Studios and Our Legacy have expanded their offer of washed jeans in recent seasons.
Denim – Distress IN
It’s about a crazy revolt against the cleanliness of raw selvedge jeans. The silhouette is typically skinny but you know the straight ones are also IN. The black knee-slit jeans from Saint Laurent are a luxury punk-rock option, (but a sure financial investment) while the hiper distressed jeans from Sydney’s The People Vs. are a price-savvy denim alternative.
So, this is it, this year we go denim, we go cool we go modern. The denim trend is unstoppable and so are we! Don’t forget about the Instagram page – weekly awesome feeds.
