Mindset day: live in The Now!
Today we will talk about the importance of the present moment because in the end, we have to admit, it’s all that we really have.
Let’s start by saying that life is the dancer and you are the music. You are the creator of your own reality and the present moment is your only true friend. Don’t create an enemy from THIS moment, try to work with it not against it, because you know, you only get more of what you resist, and what you resist not only persists, but will also grow in size ( Carl Jung)
Change your mental state right now. Begin with observing your own negative story, that awful narrative that keeps you stuck on a limb. I hope you see where I’m going: your ”reality” is just in your head, and most of the times it’s not even as ugly as you make it to be. What you have to do is to turn back to the only moment that counts…the now.
Try to be curious about this alive dance of thoughts, sensations, feelings, and impulses, that are happening at this very moment. Remember, “Now” is the only thing from which true answers can eventually emerge. The present moment is your true home, prior to time and space. It’s all there is: the calm in the midst of the storm.
Be present, observe your patterns, and see them for what they really are – thoughts, nothing more, nothing less, and you my friend are the observer (not the negative storyline). Be positive, Enjoy Life and Bielive in Your own path!
Life Is A Journey, Not A Final Destination.
There is only THIS Moment – this present scene of the movie of your life. Come out of that epic story of time and space, future, past, regrets and scary anticipations. Change your usual pattern based on ‘what’s gone’, ‘what’s not here yet’ – things you cannot possibly control from where you are. Come out of the story of ‘My Life’ and allow yourself to be fascinated by what is alive, here, now.
Problems and pain are not the the real issue; the problem is our way of thinking about pain and our problems, our resistance to situations we don’t like, our attempt to escape it all and reach an imagined future. The real struggle begins when we start ruminating on our sadness, our fears, our anger; brooding over our discomforts, rewinding and fast-forwarding the movie of our lives! We persist on yesterday’s and tomorrow’s sorrows, rather than exploring and experiencing today’s situations as they arrive.
We add an unnecessary layer of resistance to life, and this in the end creates suffering. The solution? Come out of past and future, seeking and fighting, and meet life as it is, right now, without any judgement, and without the expectation. Meet the moment on its own terms. See it all as a gift. Show up, for the pleasant and unpleasant, without an agenda. Life is now, the journey is made step by step and always has its roots in the now. The final destination – only you know it. Instead of dreaming about it, enjoy the ride my friends, the plane will go there without you worrying about it.
The present is all we have. If you don’t like this very moment of your life in which you are don’t put yourself down. Accept it like it is and after that, take actions to chance something the things you can, if not accept and let go until you can do something about it. Enjoy the jouney, moment by moment, build on it, and have fun doing it… Live from a place of abundance and the future will be a reflection of it .
Don’t forget we’re in this together!
